Software Engineering Delivery Solutions Consultant

Work you'll do
As a Delivery Consultant, Software Engineering Solutions on the AI & Engineering team, you will be responsible for:
Support cloud migration and hybrid integration activities across development, test, and production environments, including builds, configuration, documentation, validation, cutover preparation, and transition-to-Operations and Maintenance (O&M) handoff
Implement cloud infrastructure changes in alignment with approved designs for cloud migrations and hybrid integrations
Assist with environment setup and configuration for test, lab, and pre-production validation activities
Execute deployment and cutover runbooks, capture evidence, update procedures, and document incident triage outcomes during operational testing windows
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including configuration notes, diagrams, standard operating procedures, runbooks, and remediation tracking support

Within this practice, the Engineering as a Service offering provides end-to-end design, implementation, and technology operations support to help modernize platforms, transform engineering teams, and deliver complex programs with a product engineering mindset.
This opportunity sits within the Deloitte US Delivery Center model, which provides high-quality, cost-effective services through standardized processes and delivery approaches. US Delivery Center professionals work from specific delivery center locations and support client needs with nominal travel requirements.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
3+ years of experience in cloud engineering in Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure, including cloud migrations and hybrid networking
3+ years of experience using infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Bicep, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices
3+ years of experience developing operational documentation and runbooks to support transition activities
Ability to travel 15%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
Experience troubleshooting cloud environments across build, testing, validation, and documentation handoff activities
