Work You'll Do

As a Lead Managed Services Engineer II and Solution Architect in our AI & Engineering (AI&E) Engineering-as-a-Service team, you will:
  • Design, document and develop world-class enterprise applications using a full spectrum of enterprise technologies for major consulting clients, focusing on innovation, technology resiliency, and operational excellence.
  • Define the scope and scale of projects - landscape requirements, development, architect the solution, working with a team of solution experts.
  • Review and evaluate key attributes of existing application structures: Leading the successful implementation of these architectures, managing expectations, risk and project completion.
  • Perform detailed reviews on deliverables, providing technical guidance to the team, managing the team, managing global team members and working directly with client stakeholders.
  • Act as a technology liaison between business stakeholders, not limited to end-user clients, project managers, business analysts, developers, testers and other cross-functional teams.
  • Mentor and enable teams through facilitation of knowledge sharing, leading virtual office hours, and supporting continuous improvement in best practices.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in information sciences, technology, computer science, or related field.
  • 8+ years' experience in a consulting firm or relevant industry experience which should include working with working with large globally dispersed teams, managing on and offshore resources.
  • 6+ years' experience working in technical solution implementation including experience with architecture, design, evaluation, and investigation in a Cloud environment.
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing and evaluating existing application architectures.
  • Experience performing detailed reviews on deliverables, providing technical guidance to the team, managing the team, and working directly with client stakeholders.
  • Routing interaction with other stakeholders, not limited to end-user clients, project managers, scrum masters, business analysts, offshore development teams, testers, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and customer service mindset; proven ability to develop strong client relationships and deliver results across geographically distributed teams.
  • Experience working in a multi-vendor environment with third parties.
  • Use of AI in current project work to improve efficiencies.
  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred:
  • Experience with large-scale technology modernization, cloud transformation, and continuous integration / continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline improvement.
  • Ability to deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience managing project teams including budget oversight and staffing of project teams.
  • Industry recognized technology certifications such as AWS Cloud, GCP, MS Azure, Claude Certified Architect.
  • Master's degree in technology or a related field.

Wages + Salary

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $144,600 to $241,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
