Delivery Consultant, Network Engineer
The Deloitte AI & Engineering team helps organizations transform technology platforms, drive innovation, and improve business outcomes. As a Delivery Consultant, Infrastructure Engineering Solutions, you will support the design, engineering, and implementation of network infrastructure solutions for a Federal Government client. This role focuses on modernization across local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), wireless, and cloud-connected environments and offers the opportunity to contribute to architecture, deployment, testing, migration, and technical documentation efforts.
Work you'll do
As a Delivery Consultant, Infrastructure Engineering Solutions on the Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for:
Designing and implementing network infrastructure solutions across routers, switches, firewalls, virtual private networks (VPNs), and wireless technologies
Performing network assessments, analyzing current environments, and recommending design improvements and modernization approaches
Supporting network upgrades, migrations, integrations, and deployment activities across multiple sites and environments
Developing and validating technical designs, implementation plans, engineering documentation, network diagrams, and configuration baselines
Conducting testing, supporting cutover and transition activities, and collaborating with cybersecurity, systems engineering, and project teams to align solutions with program objectives

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree
Ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
3+ years of experience in network engineering, infrastructure implementation, or network modernization
3+ years of experience with Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), virtual local area networks (VLANs), routing, switching, and virtual private network (VPN) technologies
3+ years of experience with enterprise network platforms, network security architecture, segmentation, secure design principles, and network deployment, integration, testing, and technical documentation
Ability to travel 15%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
2+ years of experience with wireless networking
2+ years of experience with cloud networking concepts
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or another networking certification
