HOW EMERGING FROM RAINY DAYS IS MENTAL ILLNESS RECOVERY SUCCESS ON JUNETEENTH DAY, NEW BOOK RELEASE! (1816 hits)

For Immediate Release From Kingdom-Levine-Oliver Publisher, Inc.!

As I plant my feet back on the ground—after days of relentless rain, the untimely death of my laptop, and the mental chaos stirred up by the isms of Bipolar Disorder—the sun is finally shining again. A new laptop arrived just as I was heading to bed last night, and with it, a gentle wave of relief.

After a solid night’s rest, I now find myself wondering: when will the next mood dip come? It’s a constant carousel of ups and downs I’ve learned to ride since finding stability in my recovery. During times like these, I whisper to myself, “It’s not as bad as that... or this,” as I take in the day’s headlines. There’s quiet comfort in those words, and just enough light to carry me into the next hour.

Hope is a double-edged sword when you live with Bipolar Disorder. On one side, it’s the search for something small but meaningful to look forward to—maybe it’s the other half of a pizza or a few spoons of ice cream. That sense of hope expands as the rainy days pass. I always keep an eye on my supply of medication, knowing that consistency means sleep will be waiting for me when the daylight fades.

The other edge of the sword is my reentry point into the world. It’s the spark that drives me to raise awareness about the power of treatment—to leave the dark mood swings behind. And when I do, it’s a celebration: I made it.
Which brings me to something special I’m thrilled to share: the release of my new book, “I Saw You In His Eyes: Reenie’s Story.” You can find it now at https://tinyurl.com/5n947vta —I’d love your support.

Reenie’s story is one of resilience—overcoming domestic violence and navigating life with the emotional scars that shaped her journey through Bipolar Disorder. It’s not just a story of survival, but one of transformation. Reenie reclaims her life, finding strength beyond victimhood. Her journey sheds light on the impact of mental illness, the importance of support, and the power of healing.

We are free to treat our mental illnesses such as depression. We are free to end suicide thoughts. We are free to learn how.
