I have a dream,

that I hope won’t come true,

I have a dream, and in this dream I don’t know what to do,

I hear this baby, he has a torturous cry,

I see his mother, she’s paralyzed,

I see a judge but he’s in the form of a demon,

He blesses a rapist…what am I dreaming?

The baby is hurt,

his bones are broke,

His mother’s face is swollen-after being beaten and choked,

I flash back to the day she gave birth,

She cried like the day she mourned,

His lungs were wet -like her stillborn...

He was rushed to the intensive care unit,

She was screaming “God, please bring him through this,

Save my little man”

she blew him a kiss, and said, “Jesse, please, don’t leave me again!.”

He has these tears in his eyes,

I don’t know what to do,

I look at her, and she’s crying too,

The demon and the rapist chant ‘we hate her’,

Like snakes, they shed skin, but now in the form of a human nature,

The demon has on a black robe and is holding a gavel,

The rapist is dressed in suit pants, glasses and sandals,

The baby....barely breathing,

The mother ….. shackled in a wheelchair, paralyzed, and grieving

The rapist whispers in her ear,

“ I’m going to say this very slow, to make sure you hear,”

I have done everything you have ever feared,”

I told you, you could not escape me,

I beat you, raped you, and I’m still free,

You fought back, called 911,

gave birth to this bastard, and I still won!”

I’m having this dream,

I hope it won’t come true,

I’m having this dream and I don’t know what to do……
