Component Assemblers are responsible for assembling and fabricating system components using mechanical drawings and specifications. This role involves using various tools and equipment to perform sub-assembly and final assembly tasks, positioning parts for integration into larger systems. Assemblers work under supervision, adhering to all safety, quality, and procedural standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble and fabricate parts according to mechanical drawings, specifications, and verbal instructions.
Perform sub-assembly and final assembly of system components, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Use computer programs to open, read, and print mechanical drawings.
Position and integrate assembled parts into larger systems.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment following 5S and company safety standards.
Conserve resources by using tools, equipment, and materials efficiently and correctly.
Adhere to all safety and quality guidelines, documenting actions and observations when necessary.
Flexibility to take on various tasks outside your primary expertise to support project and company objectives.
Qualifications
Experience reading and interpreting mechanical assembly drawings.
Hands-on experience with assembling and fabricating PFA and PVDF parts is preferred.
Familiarity with maintaining safety and quality standards in a production environment.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a team setting.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in mechanical assembly or related fields is beneficial but not required.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for prolonged periods and engage in repetitive, detailed tasks requiring fine motor skills.
Must be capable of lifting up to 30 lbs. and performing physical tasks requiring arm and hand stability.
Proficient in reading, hearing, and interpreting instructions and drawings in English.
Ability to focus on detailed work and maintain steady hand movements during assembly processes.
