Sr Planner
We are looking for an experienced Senior Planner to join our printing plant team in Eagan, Minnesota. As a Senior Planner, you will be responsible for planning the materials and production processes required for production orders for a broad group of products.For this role, you would also be eligible for a $2,500 signing bonus (only for external candidates) upon being in the role for 90 days.
About the Role:In this opportunity as a Senior Planner, you will be responsible for:
Identifying materials and process requirements for finished good production orders.
Determining lot sizes for general shipment and replenishment orders.
Creating and releasing production orders to communicate all details necessary to ensure accurate production.
Monitoring production orders through planning process to ensure quality and determining optimal processing of production orders.
Forecasting products in SAP and developing/collecting product specifications for input into SAP.
Maintaining material master data and scheduling/providing binder and tab specifications.
Collaborating with production and/or other internal departments.
Proactively building relationships with internal and external customers and monitoring all product components.
Serving as a resource to the Material Req Planner 1 and leading special projects to improve processes.
Providing quotes.and may perform MCS Account Representative 2 duties as assigned by the business.
Providing backup support to Account Representatives and may perform system testing.
Supporting other production needs as requested (e.g., flex labor needs).
About You:
Education
Bachelors degree or equivalent and some work experience in a related field
Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft applications
Knowledge of material requirements planning for a broad group of products
High level of proficiency in SAP
Mathematical, analytical and logic skills
