British scientists claimed this week to have created human sperm from embryonic stem cells for the first time, an accomplishment they say may someday help infertile men father children.
The technique could in 10 years allow researchers to use the basic knowledge of how sperm develop to design treatments to enable infertile men the chance to have biological children, said lead researcher Karim Nayernia, of Newcastle University, whose team earlier in 2006, produced baby mice from sperm derived in a similar way.
German scientist say they created human sperm. The only thing that comes to my mind is why are people trying to play God. It was said to be made to help infertle men make babies. What if it wasn't meant for certain people to have babies? What if they have a different purpose in life? I do agree that this may possibly help alot of people create new families when they are not naturally able to but, I feel that man made sperm crosses the line. Artifitially create objects even hair but please don't artifitailly create human beings.
I sympathize with people that are struggling to make a family, including relatives of my own but, the risks could be damaging to families involved in the process. The side effects will not be known until an actual child is created and observed for his or her whole life. What do you think of man made sperm and the possible consequences?
This is a bad move. It's just a atter of time before the rapture starts. Read the good book it states that days like this will come before the end comes.
